The 16-year-old teen who vanished more two weeks ago after taking a one-way flight to Cancun, Mexico with a 45-year-old married man has been found and have been returned back to the United States, authorities and her family said.
Kevin Esterly, 45, (R) was arrested in Mexico Saturday almost two weeks after he vanished with a 16-year-old girl.
Esterly's arrest comes two days after Mexico's Attorney General issued an Amber Alert for Amy.
Esterly is now being held in Miami pending extradition to Pennsylvania, where he is expected to face the charge of interference with the custody of a child, said The Morning Call.
Luu says she also found text messages suggesting Esterly and her daughter where in a romantic relationship.
Esterly's wife Stacy Esterly, in a statement released through a lawyer to the Allentown Morning Call, said that she and her husband fought about his relationship with Yu.
Agents from Homeland Security, the United States Marshals Service and Mexican authorities located Amy Yu and Kevin Esterly on March 17, at about 10:30 a.m. (EDT) in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Yu's mother said money, jewelry and her daughter's personal documents were missing, reports said. Allentown police told the Esterlys to stay away from the teen's home when the responded to a call on February 15, according to court records.

Esterly's wife, Stacey Esterly, speaking through her attorney, John Waldron, told the Morning Call that she had become suspicious of Esterly's relationship with the teen last summer, and for the past eight months the couple had been "fighting every day over Amy".
They had them over for dinner at least once and Yu's brother said it seemed the man wanted to help his sister. She also pleaded with the teen to come home.
Esterly is facing a felony charge in the third degree.
