The woman is seen arguing with an employee before before pulling her trousers down and defecating. It was deleted from the self-broadcasting platform a little too late as it was already widely circulated on Twitter.
A woman could be facing charges after an irate confrontation at a Langley Tim Hortons Monday ended in feces being thrown at staff. The woman then immediately picked up the poop and threw it toward the Tim Hortons staff member, who at that point was off camera.
She backs up against a divider between the counter and seating area before relieving herself - then disgustingly scooping up her feces and flinging it at the stunned employee, who was on the phone.
After the video went viral, people wanted to know what made the woman so furious that she did what she did.
Before fleeing, she wipes her behind and throws the soiled tissue at the counter.
The incident apparently began when the staff refused to allow the woman to use the restroom, based on past behaviour and safety concerns. The police said they were familiar with the woman and her antics prior to the incident.
"We strive to create a welcoming environment for all of our guests and the communities we serve".
The woman was detained, and released to attend court on a later date.
A spokesperson for Tim Hortons told Canada's Global News they are "deeply concerned" by the video as the safety of their employees and guests is "always a top priority".
Tim Hortons said in a statement that the woman's actions resulted from the employee denying the woman access to the restroom because of "past behavior" and to protect others in the restroom, CBC News reported.
