Now, a new report claims that Warner Bros. already has their eyes on a new actor to don the bright red cape: Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan. The actor also reprised the role on 2016's Batman v. Superman and 2017's Justice League.
Another Irishman, Cillian Murphy, is in contention for the part and is priced at 10/1 to be named the next Man of Steel along with Armie Hamer, Channing Tatum, and Donald Glover. The actor last week revealed that he had been cast as the main character, Geralt of Rivia, in Netflix's upcoming adaptation of the Witcher novels.
